Hole in one club - Bryan Dutton

October 3rd, 2009. Bryan Dutton aced the 11th hole during the 1st round of the Kingsley Club Open. He used a pitching wedge on the 141 yard hole. It was Bryan's 1st career ace.

Hole in one club - Ron Russ

Ron had a hole in one on August 15th at Cattails Golf Club. It happened on hole #11, the 178 yard par 3. Ron nutted a 5 iron that hit left and went right into the hole.

Hole in one club - Scott Baltes

March 14th, 2009. Scott Baltes aced the 9th hole of the South course at the Detroit Golf Club. He used a sand wedge on the 108 yard hole. It was Scott's 2nd career ace.

Hole in One club - Roger Davis

Roger Davis, 53 years old and 4 year SGT player makes hole in one at Huntmore Golf Club in Brighton, Mi. His first ever, the hole in one occurred on the 176 yard 15th hole. Roger used a Callaway FT Hybrid and MaxFli Black Max golf ball. Quite an accomplishment for this 16 handicap and 2 time SGT flight winner.

The SGT would like to welcome Jeff Goble as our preferred Teaching Instructor


Jeff Goble has been a PGA member for ten years and been recognized by Golf Digest as one of the “Top Instructors in the State” and a member of the Rick Smith Golf Academy “Top 25 Golf Schools”. Jeff returns to the area after nine years at Treetops Resort in Gaylord Michigan and Naples Florida. While at Treetops, Jeff was the Director of Instruction for the junior golf camps, a lead instructor for the ladies golf schools and a senior instructor for the Rick Smith Golf Academy. Jeff has nineteen years experience teaching all levels of play. His patience and enthusiasm create a great learning environment for all. In addition to being an accomplished player and teacher of the mechanics of the swing, Jeff's expertise also includes the effects of flexibility and equipment on the golf swing. Jeff teaches out of Mile of Golf.

Normal lessons are $110.00 per session or 4 lesson packages are $375.00.
Shooters Tour Players will get a fifth lesson free with the purchase of a package or a single lesson will be $90.00.
